After a career in teaching and food product development for manufacturing and food retailers, I rekindled a long-held interest in Art.

Since 2004 I have developed my passion for colour initially in painting plants, mainly as botanical watercolours. More recently I have spent more time painting with oils and pastels in a looser and bolder way gathering ideas from the countryside and coast, living between Oxfordshire and South Devon.
